This piece was originally planned to become a landscape, however I just couldn't resist doing another western oriented portrait. I was able to experiment with loose brush strokes and outlines using paint instead of my regular charcoal underpainting. Flesh tones are mixed loosely with shades pink, blue, and pale earth green in some areas for a rounded appearance.
